Jean Holland

Director

I began my teaching career at CNK over 35 years ago while my children were in elementary school. Immediately realizing how wonderful it was to work at CNK, I earned my certification and became a Lead Teacher. In 2008, I had the opportunity to take on the role of Assistant Director, in addition to my teaching duties. I earned my B.A. in Education in 2014 and became our full-time Director that same year.

A resident of Pembroke, I have three grown children that attended CNK, as did my grandchildren.

My happiness and joy is spending time with my two granddaughters.

Ginny Azzolino

I have had the joy and privilege of owning my own childcare center in Carver for over 30 years. Kidstop Early Childhood Center was my passion and a very special part of my life. Three years ago, I began a new chapter at CNK, and it has truly become my second home. With a degree in Early Childhood Education from Nazarene College, I have always had a deep passion and love for children, that remains in my heart today.

I am also blessed to be the proud mom of three wonderful children and the “Mimi” of eight beautiful grandchildren. I love spending time with my family and celebrating all their amazing achievements and milestones in my grandchildren’s lives.

Jennifer Dow-Walsh

Lead Teacher

I have been part of the CNK family for the past five years. I truly love every minute of being here and feel so lucky to be part of such a wonderful community.

I have three children and am a proud Mimi to one grandson, with another little one on the way! When I’m not at CNK, I love spending time outdoors. I enjoy camping, gardening, and getting a little muddy riding my ATVs. I also have a small farm, so animals have always been a big part of my life — and something I

absolutely love.

I have my degree in Early Childhood Education and also work at another child care facility. Working with children has always been something I enjoy, so I feel very fortunate to be able to do what I love.

I’m looking forward to another fun, exciting year at CNK and can’t wait to see all the wonderful things this year brings!

Kristen Davis

Teacher

I began substituting at CNK in 2018 while my son was a student and quickly discovered how much I enjoyed being part of the CNK family. I became a teacher in 2019 and have had the opportunity to work in the Pre-K, Nursery, and Mixed Age classrooms. I am excited to be returning to the Pre-K classroom this year.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education with a concentration in Communication Disorders and Special Education from Bridgewater State University, along with more than 15 years of experience in educational and administrative settings. I enjoy working with children and helping them learn, grow, and develop confidence in a nurturing and supportive environment. I believe in creating a classroom where children feel safe, valued, encouraged, and

excited to learn.

Outside of school, I am blessed to be a mother to my son and value spending time with him and my husband. I especially enjoy watching my son play hockey, as well as traveling, kayaking, hiking.

Maureen Holmes

I’m so excited to be starting my second year at CNK!

I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from Fitchburg State University. After college, I worked at a childcare center for many years. I’ve also done some substitute teaching in the Pembroke Public Schools and worked under a grant tutoring students in math. I’ve always loved working with children and watching them learn, grow, and discover new things. I’m looking forward to another fun and exciting

year at CNK!

I’ve lived in Pembroke for the past 22 years with my husband and our four children—three girls and one boy: Kate, Meaghan, Sean, and Ellen. I love spending time with my family, and one of our favorite things to do is spend time at the beach!

Debra Roy

I am a mother of three adult daughters. This will be my 21st year of teaching at CNK. I have taught Nursery, Pre-K and Mixed Age children. In my free time I enjoy reading, movies and spending time with my two grandchildren.

Zachary Palmer

I’m excited to be starting my second year teaching at CNK! Last year, I had the wonderful opportunity to work with our Pre-K students.

This year, I’m excited to begin a new adventure as a Nursery and

Mixed Age Teacher.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health from Bridgewater State University. I’m looking forward to helping our youngest learners build confidence, develop new skills, and discover the joy of learning.

Outside of school, I’m getting ready for my biggest adventure yet—I’m going to be a dad! We are expecting our first child, a baby girl, and we couldn’t be more excited. I’m looking forward to putting my future dad skills to the test!

Ruth Ellis

I work closely with families and staff to ensure that every child's individual needs are met with compassion and expertise.

I was a former teacher at CNK. I took time off to help raise my grandchildren. Now that they are all in school, I feel it is a good time to return back to where it all started.

I am excited to get back in the classroom!
